Hi peeps! Welcome! I’m a single mum of 20-year-old boy/girl twins Maximus & Matisse and my youngest daughter, Allegra, 18, (who is definitely the boss of the household), plus a step mum (or I like to say bonus mum) to my beautiful stepdaughter, who we have always called Ba. There’s also a bossy cat, Mr Fluff, and a pampered pooch, Minty Fresh, in the mix too. When I’m not cleaning up after the brood, I’m a vibrant, dynamic and well-respected journalist, media commentator and MC with over two decades of experience spanning TV, Radio, Newspapers, Magazines, Digital and Social Media in Australia. These days I’m also a podcaster, MC, content creator and influencer. But above all I cherish my family and am trying my best to merge my traditional Italian upbringing with the modern world and now, as my family grows, navigate exactly what my next path looks like. Obsessed already! 🔥💫 Plus, it’s the first time one of Moriarty’s books has been set and filmed in Australia, and it’s so nice to see!📍Spotted some stunning locations, including Little Bay Chapel, some Paddington terraces and the book’s Scribbly Gum Island was actually inspired by Dangar Island on the Hawkesbury River. 🎲 🎵Love me a big ol’ fashioned Hollywood-esque razzle-dazzle Broadway musical and Sydney you stunner you turned it on last night with a star-studded spectacle! Literally fireworks 🎇…. From the setting, the backdrop, the atmosphere 🥂 , the performances the choreography 💃 , the singing 🎤 , the dancing 🕺- it was just a whole lotta ear-to-ear smiling feel-good fun. And damn @codysimpson - the boy can not only swim but sing, dance and charm his way on a stage. @thehughjackman watch out! This man is a quadruple threat. Bravo to choreographer @kelleyabbey and stand out performances by @thedancingfox and @angelinathomson - and the scene-stealing show-stopper of the night was the number of ‘Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat’ by @jasonarrow which had me toe-tapping in my seat bursting to dancing in the aisles. 💫Just an awesome night on our amazing harbour. Thanks @beachstbeautybar for the best tan I’ve had in years - and I’m a tan-a-holic with my own spray gun and tent at home - so I’m ridiculously fussy! Exquisite experience from beginning to end; great application, no streaks or horrible patchy feet and ankles (which I’m famous for!) and moisturising too. I’ll definitely be back 💫 Ps. Last week, they recreated the iconic Bikini Wars protests of the ’60s for the launch at Bondi with some of the cast, and I’m obsessed! 🏅🇦🇺Presenting Dr Joseph Casamento OAM 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻So ridiculously proud of my Dad who has been awarded the Medal of The Order of Australia 🇦🇺 in today’s Australia Day Honours list for 2025 by the Governor General for his service to @galloping_green Randwick Rugby as club doctor for 45 years. 💚To say I am proud is an understatement: Dr Joseph Casamento has many names. He is affectionately known as Dr Joe to his thousands of patients. More widely among the Randwick Rugby Club footballers as Dr Death. To his 25 grandchildren as Nonno. And to me, and his eight children, simply as Dad 🫶🏻. But today he has a new name – That of recipient of the Medal of the Order of Australia. He now has the proud honour of being called Dr Joseph Casamento OAM. Being granted permission by the GG to use those three little initials at the end of your name is literally priceless. To be given the honour for his achievements in giving back to the community he served so lovingly for so many years means everything to him. Dad is deserving of his OAM for many reasons. But it was specifically his service to Randwick Rugby Club – where he volunteered for over 45 years as club doctor, week in, week out. He worked every single Thursday night during training and every Saturday for those 45 years during the Rugby season on top of his 70+ hour week in the surgery. It was all unpaid volunteer work. Four decades of service is an incredible achievement in any area, but especially so when it is service based purely on unconditional love. The Order of Australia is the pre-eminent means by which Australia recognises the outstanding and meritorious service of its citizens. His citation is: “For service to rugby union as club doctor”. There is little doubt Dad is as much a part of the hallowed turf at Coogee Oval as the sea breeze and the spirit of Randwick’s running game. 🧡🩷🎂Happiest of Birthday’s to my gorgeous, generous, amazing Gucci Mamma-esque fabulous friend @lailamarienassar … literally life is just soooooo much better with you in it 🩷 … whether it’s popping a champagne on a netball sideline, bringing crystal glasses🥂 to our local pizza joint for book club 📕 or whipping out ingredients to make a felafel wrap 🥒 on a bus in that trusty @maryandmariebags bag of yours full of tricks! You bring all of the fun and fizz to my life literally. But it’s not just the sound of bubbles 🍾 fizzing, or the taste of fresh lobster 🦞🦐🍋 on a seafood platter. It’s the way you are there for everyone in times of need, always with a listening ear and some harsh truths and much needed advice, or dragging me on a walk or Pilates class to keep me motivated.
