Jo is a vibrant and dynamic journalist, media personality, television presenter, radio identity and mum of three. With her fresh style and insider’s knowledge, her name is synonymous with celebrity in Sydney.

She is passionate about movies, media, showbiz, fashion and lifestyle and her smart, yet often cheeky, opinion is highly sought on anything from parenting to politics. A gifted writer, Jo is a chronic over-sharer and wears her heart on her sleeve. She loves nothing more than igniting passionate intelligent debate.

For the past two decades, Jo has broken thousands of Sydney’s most read showbiz stories through her columns in The Daily Telegraph, The Sun Herald and The Sydney Morning Herald.

She has interviewed everyone from Will Smith, Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, Gwyneth Paltrow and Russell Crowe to Kim Kardashian, Miranda Kerr, Elle Macpherson, Baz Luhrmann, Cameron Diaz and countless other superstars.

Jo is also a high profile media identity and has graced television screens and airwaves for the past 20 years. She currently writes a weekly social column for the prestigious Wentworth Courier and is a regular panellist on Studio 10.

She also has a weekly At The Movies Choc Top Chat on The Chris Smith Program on Sydney’s highest rating radio station, 2GB, as well as providing showbiz updates for the nation’s most read women’s magazine, New Idea. Jo is also writing a book with one of Sydney’s highest-profile celebrities.

Her columns in both the Daily Telegraph – where she launched Sydney Confidential – and more recently The Goss in The Sun Herald and Sydney’s number one website, smh.com.au, set tongues wagging globally and became a must read for anyone inside the entertainment industry.

The busy mum of three was also a regular panellist on Ten’s Beauty and the Beast and entertainment reporter on 2GB and 2UE as well as the Kyle and Jackie O show. Her other regular television appearances have include Sunrise, The Morning Show, Wake UP, Today Tonight, Sunday Night at The Know among her many other engagements as a media identity. She is often asked to contribute to high-profile websites including E! Online and Rescu.com.

Jo began her career at The Catholic Weekly after duxing her school and earning her Bachelor in Communications degree at The University of Technology in Sydney. She won her cadetship at The Australian newspaper and then cut her teeth on Sydney’s legendary Page 13 gossip column before launching the inaugural Sydney Confidential section in The Daily Telegraph.

She has since worked for The Sunday Telegraph as fashion and social columnist, The Sun Herald, The Sydney Morning Herald and as entertainment and lifestyle reporter for smh.com.au.
